Hi Achim,
I have an observation made to me since no peace can be more. Almost four weeks I had to loose when running find that I quickly fell out of breath and the feeling was just bad air. A few days earlier I was a long time once again for blood donations. Is there a connection, and if so, is this worrying? Should I prefer the good of my health on regular blood donations renounce?
Thank you for your help, Paul

Dear Paul,
A connection may already exist there. Finally, missing you, at least temporarily, a part of your oxygen transport. But please let times after your blood hemoglobin value (HB) determined by the GP. Then you have certainty. One reason for concern, however, it is not. It holds: Blood donation saves lives.

Hello Achim and team
I run regularly, two to three times a week, morning, about an hour, to the ten miles and am so happy and satisfied. Only sometimes plagues me a somewhat delicate suffering, at times I must ask whether the widespread among runners. Every now and then I get while running a slight pressure in the aftermarket area. I would not run, I just went to the loo.

Since I was totally confused but brings into my rhythm, I resist the loo, which is also not difficult. Unfortunately, it's just that if I then go to the loo, occasionally blood in the bowl look. Similar problems, I have never. And since I do not every time I run this problem, I have also not sought any other explanation. I just want to avoid me and my ass something doofes Antu.
Times I thank in advance for an answer, Verena

Dear Verena,
difficult to answer because I do not know how much blood you lose and where it originated. From the distance can be such a problem in any case not solve. Makes sense, it is immediately after such an event to your dermatologist or better yet a Proktologen to go in order to find the cause. Then you are reassured. And we are. Would be nice if we could also learn what it once lay.
Best regards, Dr. Dirk Pajonk

Hello Doc,

Hi Achim,
Recently I read your advice on running with rails, I guess once you meintet the Aircast-Schiene and the notice from the DOC, so that one
not a long walk. Since I am quite often in the left ankle umknicke and then regularly (once or twice a year) get a heavy foot, I must again and again with the Aircast-rail train to start. 2007, we have even bigger problems without the Berlin Marathon four weeks after a stretch of track in 4:35 hours gone. Tip: long, thick stockings anything!
Gruß, Bernd
